Our machines are capable of producing parts up to 2m X 1m 0.7m in size. Our 5 axis machining centres are ideal for small batch production and prototype work. The associated lead and cycle time reductions enable Doran Precision Engineering Ltd to offer competitive rates on rapid response and rework requirements.
We currently work with 6082 / 6061 / 7075 / 2024 Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Nylon/ Delrin & Black Acetal
Inspection
Doran Precision Engineering Ltd utilise the latest 3D measuring systems to assure the quality of the products produced. The FARO Gage measuring arm is an industry leader in portable CMMs, offering high accuracy levels, improved measurement consistency, reduced inspection time, and automated reports that can be tailored to suit most customer formats for first article inspection (FAI) to AS9102 requirements.
After Production Services
We offer a range of part finishing solutions after production through third parties, including wire insert fitment, powder coating, plating, and chemical conversion processes (clear chem film application, anodising, and passivation)
